Hi!

My heart just wants to tell you simply I’m here, I’m qualified, I’m experienced and I am ready when you are.

However I do  understand you may want to know more about my background:-

I am a qualified psychotherapist, this was a 5 year training course. On top of this training I had to complete 550 hours of client work, mainly working for various charities offering low cost counselling. 100 clinical observation hours on an NHS psychiatric ward, over 240 hours of personal therapy and countless hours of clinical supervision.

I am a qualified EFT Practitioner, EFT stands for ‘Emotional Freedom Technique’ that I use to help clients to heal from trauma.

I am a fully trained major incident practitioner, also known as “Crisis Management.” I spent 3 years working with various size corporates in the UK helping to train and prepare their boards and senior management teams (SMT’s) to respond to a crisis. Our specialisim was in the human impact of a crisis, this focused on looking after the people involved, related to and the employees of the organisation responding to the crisis.

During and prior to the above I have been a Project Manager based in the City of London, Chief Operations Officer, business consultant and a small business owner/operator.

I have created and run workshops in the field of addiction recovery and worked in private rehab. Last year I created and ran a men only support group. Finally I am proud and honoured to work with a diverse range of clients from all walks of life in private practice.

Counselling or Coaching?

Counselling

In a Counselling relationship, we walk together shoulder to shoulder, one talks and the other listens intently and un-conditionally.

The Client picks-up whatever they want to talk about, the narrative is theirs and theirs alone. This then leads to the client reconnecting with those parts of themselves that may have been forgotten or neglected.

Coaching

Metaphorically speaking in a coaching relationship we sometimes jostle for position, you may walk ahead and sometimes you may find you’re a few steps behind.

We share ideas and even solutions and we look at blocks head on. The outputs are: – a plan is created, and we work on you ACTIONING those plans. Then we work with the results and challenges by listening to each other.

If what you have read so far resonates with you, then we might be a good fit. The best way to find out if we are is to book a chat so we can get to know one another a little more.

A space to find your true self

Whether online or in person at my rooms near Paddington, London, I strive to create a space where you can be true to who you are and what you want to achieve.
